With the recent announcement of legend Burning Spear that he will return to the stage, it was clear that we will be honored a to present him again in Israel, after more than 30 years.
A conversation was immediately formed with Ravid Plotnik and Ehud Banai and his new band “Back Line” – two wonderful artists who represent more than anything else what we see as the Israeli “Roots”.
A one-of-a-kind connection between generations and styles, a connection that allows the audience to dive deep into the roots, and to explore unity – or as Rastafari say – ONE LOVE.

Burning Spear, the Jamaican Roots Reggae legend who  gave the rooted Rastafarian music the injection of happiness and spirituality that are so
identified with it.
Before him is The Back Line Band with Ehud Banai – which brings together the roots of folk, punk and dub into a mix that is entirely Israeli soul
And finally, Ravid Plotnik is perhaps the most interesting artist of the period in Israeli music, who brings his roots all the way from Petah Tikva to Megiddo 🙂
